Corey Emanuel is a content creator, producer and thought influencer. Corey launched his multimedia production company, Corey Emanuel Omnimedia (CEO), in 2008 while living in New York City. While pursuing his master’s degree in Communication at Columbia University, Corey was an editorial trainee for CNN’s Black in America series under the leadership of Soledad O’Brien. During his time at CNN, Corey wrote and published his first children’s book entitled, Can I Be President, Too?, paying homage to President Barack Obama.
In 2014, Corey relocated to Los Angeles to pursue interests in both television and film as well as begin working on his PhD in Media Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. In 2018, Corey created and produced his first web series entitled, Lend Me Your Lens, an intimate look at the lives of creatives of color.
Corey is now a doctoral candidate completing his dissertation entitled: The Impact of Black Celebrities on Black Culture. Corey is a member of the Television Academy and is the creative director for the non-profit organization, Engage the Vision.
